20 km—that’s the maximum distance to reach a charging station in the Gard department!

Managed by Territoire Energie Gard and entrusted to Bouygues Energies & Services, an Equans France entity, as the main contractor for 15 years, the reGARD network has a clear ambition: to make electric vehicle use easier and more accessible in the Gard.

Financially supported by Elinvest, an investment structure composed of Banque des Territoires, TIIC and Equans, reGARD will offer every resident or visitor a charging station within 20 km, anywhere in the department, by 2027. As the first Public Service Delegation of its kind in Occitanie, this network is based on a dense and balanced coverage between rural and urban areas.

By the end of 2027, 800 charging points will be operational. The program includes:

• Integration of 400 charging points from the current Révéo network, designed and operated by Bouygues Energies & Services for nearly 10 years
• Installation of nearly 400 new points, including 100 ultra-fast chargers
• Operation via the Alizé platform and maintenance of the entire network

On Tuesday, October 28, the official launch of the Public Service Delegation “reGARD – charging that connects us!” took place at the Pont du Gard site, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, along with the inauguration of eight charging stations. The event was attended by Aime Cavaille, President of Territoire Energie Gard; Dominique Neel, Deputy CEO of Bouygues Energies & Services, an Equans France entity; Patrick Malavieille, President of EPCC Pont du Gard; and Guillaume Petitjean, Investment Manager for Digital and Mobility at Banque des Territoires. 🏛️

By 2040, more than 1,000 charging points will meet the mobility needs of the department, making it a benchmark for electric mobility in the region.
